Reality star Tila Tequila suffered facial cuts after patrons at the "Gathering of the Juggalos" concert in Hardin County, Ill., pelted her with rocks and feces early Saturday.

"I went onstage and immediately, before I even got on stage, dudes were throwing huge stone rocks in my face, beer bottles that slit my eye open, almost burnt my hair...cuz they threw fire crackers on stage," Tequila (real name: Tila Nguyen) told TMZ.com of the incident.

Hardin County Sheriff Tom Seiner confirmed Tequila, a singer who appeared on MTV's A Shot at Love, complained she was injured by concertgoers. Law enforcement officials declined to go into detail, citing HIPAA privacy laws.

A performer at the outdoor music festival, featuring acts including the Insane Clown Posse, tells CNN.com Tequila was mobbed by hundreds of fans and chased from the stage.

"She was taunting them," the witness said. "She didn't know how to handle the [crowd]...She took her top off and they got really violent."

Tequila Twittered her plans to file a lawsuit against concert organizers, telling fans "Pretty soon the owners who run the Juggalos will be bankrupt. My attorney Alan is already on it. This is disgusting behavior from men."

Maybe when the crowd obviously doesnt like you and starts hurling things at you, its time to get off the damn stage.

  • August 20, 2010 - 9:20am kolinas

This has been blown way out of proportion. Sometimes at concerts when the crowd doesn't like you, they throw things at you. No need to make a big deal out of it. Just suck it up and move on. Method Man got hit in the face with a beer at the same festival and got his eye split open, but you don't see him whining and crying and filing lawsuits.

Tila, maybe you shouldn't have been at the Gathering of the Juggalos when you, yourself are neither a Juggalo or Juggalette. Loved you in "Chuck & Larry" but you don't belong in this scene and also, sue the people who hit you that's the real perpetraitor not the owners of the "Juggalo" franchise. Sometimes I wish people would use common sense. Duh.

I don't agree with the jerks that did that to Tila, but to anyone who is surprised, including Tila: What were you thinking? Going out in front of that crowd is like if this were still the '70s and Shaun Cassidy or the Bay City Rollers walked out on stage at a Foreigner or Cheap Trick or Aerosmith concert. It just isn't done. Doesn't anyone know that? Same thing with a guy who walks ontage and announces he likes the color pink and is not interested in sports and only has the ability to drink one beer an hour. The crowd will crusify him!

I think its normal for every man to beat the sh1t out of a s1utty wh0re which Tila is.

Before this goes much further, people should keep in mind the history that Tila has given herself of lying over various things and blowing them out of proportion.(supposed miscarriages, having sex with celebs of whom she's never met, fake suicides etc.) Icp, Juggalos, ICP fans, generally speaking, are FAR from racists. Again, know your facts. It is a good question as of why they would hire Tila to come play at the gathering, of which psychopathic records (ICPs record label) has created and hosted for 11 years running. There have been quite a few acts that have went on stage and received a similar treatment of things being thrown at them because they were taunting the crowd, the crowd didn't like them, or other. Tila, if not familiar with the Gathering of the Juggalos, juggalos, or anything associated with them, should not have gotten herself into something without having prior knowledge of what is more than likely going to occur. This may be her managers fault, I don't know, but it's definitely wise to know what you're going up against. I'm not justifying their actions of tthrowing things at her, just saying she could've expected worse had she even tried to look into it. And who would throw feces? Especially having to reach into porta johns to get it? That's an outlandish statement all by itself. If anything, if you put 8,000 people with limited showers in hot weather for 4 days mixed with indulgence of alcohol and other.. the ground in front of the stages gets muddy, and everyone smells of "dirty hippies". Maybe it was mud? I'm thinking the majority of this claim is another attempt of Tila trying to get anyone's attention with over-exaggerations and horror stories.

Apparently the "festival" booked her, and thought she should be there. Mistake, maybe, but exactly what did she do that DESERVED being hit by rocks, crap, and glass...... GREAT CROWD ( that's irony, folks)

  • August 17, 2010 - 2:48am Ali

We can agree she shouldn't have been treated like that, BUT in the end she knew what she was getting into and maybe she should've reconsidered before going on stage. She should do some research on concerts, especially these typese. To be honest, they really need to having more protection from ICP concerts, too many tales of violence and drama surrounds those groups.

  • August 17, 2010 - 2:46am Lesley

that was rude and sad i mean come on..seriously..i personally dont like her but its still sad

  • August 17, 2010 - 2:17am Octavion

this is uncalled for, no matter whether you like her or not, she is human just like everyone else and doesn't deserve to be treated like this

  • August 17, 2010 - 2:01am Randy

Sure, some of you may think she's not talented, or that she sucks or whatever, but, that doesn't take away from the fact that she shouldn't have been treated like that. Granted, she probably didn't belong on the stage, especially with the likes of ICP, but still, the treatment she recieved was way out of line. Feces? c'mon people. what the Hell? How would you lie it if you or your little sister were treated this way? Just sayin'.

  • August 17, 2010 - 1:38am lala

why are ppl calling this racist? that's stupid. maybe they were throwing rocks cuz she has no business being on a stage! and everyone knows it. on the other hand, that STILL doesnt give anyone a right to throw glass jeez. but suing the organizer is stupid too. just trying to put the blame on somebody and make yourself look big n bad. the organizer didnt throw nothin at you.

  • August 17, 2010 - 1:33am lani

if you don't like someone it doesn't mean you can throw thing to others. The juggalo are nothing but an apes or a monkey throwing feces on tila, You guys go to hell.

  • August 17, 2010 - 1:32am Cici

Not a big fan of ICP but who in the world thinks Tila Tequila is entertaining enough to hire?

  • August 17, 2010 - 1:21am kelly

I think thats really mess up for what they did and i hope they have whats coming for them..and its good that she is sueing....keep ya head up

  • August 17, 2010 - 1:11am Nick

Why would the festival's organizer(s)(talent buyers) hire Tila and ICP to play the same festival and share the same stage? It's not ICP's fault. It's not Tila's fault. Unfortunately it's the organizer's fault for not foreseeing this happening and should be liable for any injuries during the event. Everyone is saying that Tila shouldn't of been there. I say why the hell did the organizers hire her to play there.
