Tony Dovolani: I Regret Telling Kate Gosselin "I Quit"

Tony Dovolani regrets telling partner Kate Gosselin he "quit" after a rehearsal spat featured on Monday's show.
"I don't like speaking when I am upset, and I don't ever want to bring back words that I don't mean, and 'I quit' I guess was one of them," he told Entertainment Tonight. "And I only said one word, and I guess that's the one I take back."

On the show, footage aired of Gosselin, 35, criticizing Dolovani's teaching style during rehearsals. "He feels like I undermine him as a teacher," she said, later telling Dolovani, 36: "I love how you teach, but you're not taking into consideration how I learn." Outraged, Dolovani stormed off and Gosselin's eyes filled with tears. He eventually cooled down and returned to rehearsals, and Gosselin thanked him. "I've had a lot of people quit on me in life," she said, presumably referring to ex Jon.
When producers first showed the teaser clip of Dolovani quitting, Gosselin rolled her eyes and made a face at the screen. Cheryl Burke tried to give her a little reassuring pat on the arm.

"It was a a tough 30 seconds, and they showed every second of it," Gosselin later told ET.
But she said she was "fine" seeing it in the end.

"I don't mind the reality part of it," she explained. "The reality is, it is very, very tough. I am not a dancer. I've said it a million times, and it is so true in that sense of that word - I am not a dancer. So, for me to even be out there ... Ok, so I forgot half my steps? The fact that I didn't fall is truly amazing."
Despite her positive outlook, Gosselin tanked on the dance floor, earning a score of 15, with judge Bruno Tonioli calling her a "nightmare."
Gosselin and Dolovani didn't sit together throughout the show (unless they were on camera). Gosselin looked tired and upset the whole night.
But when the show was over, Gosselin hugged Dolovani and said "I'm so sorry." Dovolani appeared to be reasoning with her about what went wrong. She smiled as she did some press, but "you could tell she was unhappy," a witness tells UsMagazine.com.

"Oh my Gosh" Kate speak - she's turned up AGAIN !!!! They are phasing her out on ou reality channel, I wish they would hiurry up. Is is true that Jon ia trying to be the childrens' primary carer. I HOPE SO THEY DESERVE A CHANCE TO BE NORMAL. Mom "popping" back now and then is not good for them. She should leave "their house" downsize, get a house os her own and GET OFF OUR SCREENS.!!! Since when does having a bunch of kids and running for Queen *itch make someone a celebrity? If that's the case there are several million lining up to take her place. Give Tony someone worthy of him.
Get Kate off the show before she ruins it completely. All she does is bi**h and whine. She certainly cannot dance or will she ever, poor Tony. I hope next year they give him a partner willing to work a little and stop with the kids excuse, she is not the only one to raise kids and work. She is one ugly human being and thank your lucky starts Jon that you got out of there. Sorry kids but you are stuck with her

Hey, do any of you nay sayers think YOU can do better under the stress that Kate is under??!!! the show is about the PROs "teaching" the celebrities "how" to ballroom dance....so the objective is to "learn" AND "progress"...and that is what Kate is doing...She's not great by any stretch of the imagination...BUT...she is progressing. Remember, the reason these shows are popular is because WE watch them, and we watch them to see what will happen next...I laugh at people who THINK they have the right to judge...but those who judge have NO idea what REALLY goes on when the cameras aren't running...it's all just GOSSIP!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK KATE...some of us ARE rooting for you!!!
Kate needs extensive therapy... she is an angry person. I think this goes way back to the beginning, she always was short and bossy in the beginning of the shows.
Yes, she treats everyone like trash. The way she rolls her eyes at the judges is disrespectful and she has made NO progress at all. Kate go home, please! Then to top it off she gets a dance studio in her basement out of this. DUH!!!! Talak about wasting money.
TONY: You REGRET telling her you quit? I regret having read that you said that! She needs to go HOME, she can't dance and is wasting your time and my patience. If she continues on, I'll just stop watching until she does go home but I will continue to vote for those that DO know how to dance. Tony, please don't turn into a wuss over this diva b&*^h!

Tony, grow some cohones and quit trying to teach that useless bi$ch how to dance. She will never learn. She should have been voted off not only because she can't dance but because of the way she treats you and other people.
How did she ever make it as a nurse!! She can't even remember a short dance number and has to count while she dances. She embarrasses Tony who tries his best to make her dance and knows it ain't happening. She is his worst nightmare partner no doubt. All she sees is $$$$$

Are you kidding, should Tony quit on her? He is human and has his limits! Kate is not the only one judged by how the dance goes. Tony gets judged for the routine and how it's performed. Tony can only make it so simple and Kate has to help pull it off. She needs to leave her diva bit at home where she can get by with it. If you saw she and Jon's TV show, you've seen this side of Kate before! Tony has my sympathy!
She needs to go...I don't think she is the reason the ratings are up. I certainly don't watch just because she is on the show. It should have been her then sorry to say but Buzz has to go as well. It easily could have been both of them this week. I wouldn't be surprised if Tony quits again next week.
