It's puppy time! Tori Spelling and her kids are finding comfort in a new addition to their family: a Maltese mix puppy.
After Us Weekly exclusively broke news of husband Dean McDermott's affair in its Jan. 6 issue, Spelling, 40, brought her two youngest children to the American Kennel Club in L.A. on Monday, Jan. 6 to adopt the little black fur ball.
Wearing a baggy, striped, button-down sweater and distressed blue jeans cuffed above a pair of camel-colored booties, the mother of four kids -- Liam, 6, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 16 months -- wore no makeup with the exception of a swipe of lipstick as she cradled the pooch in her arms.
Spelling still wore her wedding band on her left ring finger despite 47-year-old McDermott's recent betrayal: As reported by Us, Spelling's husband of 7 years cheated on his wife with a 28-year-old woman named Emily Goodhand, whom he met during a business trip. The star, who runs popular lifestyle blog ediTORIal, has yet to address the scandal.
Just two days before the kennel, Spelling stopped by Maggiano's in LA with her kids, pal Mehran Farhat and the family's nanny.
The new pooch isn't Spelling's only happy distraction: On Monday, the ABC Family network announced that Spelling's new comedy series Mystery Girls, co-produced by fellow 90210 alum and close pal, Jennie Garth, 41, was given the green light.
Regardless, a source tells Us in its Jan. 17 issue that Spelling was "devastated" to learn of McDermott's affair. "Tori went nuts and has been saying she may leave him," the insider added.
