Tori Spelling: Dean and I "Not Headed for Divorce"

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott aren't splitting up.
"We're not headed for divorce," Spelling, 36, on Monday's Today show. "We're committed to each other, we're committed to this family. But you know, we work on things just like everyone else."

Rumors that the couple of four years were calling it quits sprouted up after footage from the fifth season of their Oxygen reality show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, showed them feuding.
"It's like you got more and more unhappy and angry," Spelling says to her husband, 43. "I just want the old Dean back. I really do. I miss you so much."

But, Spelling -- who is mom to Liam, 3, and Stella, 2 -- tells the new issue of Us Weekly that "there are good days and bad days with everything. I'm happy fans will see we have ups and downs like everyone else."
Despite the rough patch, the couple says they wouldn't change anything about their lives -- or take their show off TV.

"If we were on another series, or Dean was, we'd be gone 17 hours a day," Spelling tells Us. Adds McDermott, "Its a lot of fun and we get to spend time together."
Also on the mend: Tori's relationship with her mom, Candy. Their longstanding feud peaked after Aaron Spelling's 2006 death.
“It's a work in progress, but it's great," Spelling says. "She sees the grandkids all the time. She loves them, they're taken by her. So we're just working towards improving our relationship."

29They both cheated on spouses but Dean left a wife with baby and a young boy which is awful. And Tori was so mean to the ex-wife with banning her from hollywood events that the wife was original invited to. I hope Karma plays out here, it would be a good exam to the world.
I just read in People that Tori is always worrying Dean will cheat on her. I guess karma is a b**ch Tori! You are worrying about your hubby cheating because he's a cheater- you met him while he was married and he cheated on his then wife with you. Which you were happy to be a part of. So I guess it's safe to say that you got exactly what you deserved- a life of worrying about your man straying because he's a cheater. Suck it up princess. Maybe you should have thought of that when you were screwing a married man.

I was shocked to even read something like this tori and dean are my favourite celebrity couple at the moment. Im not married but im not stupid either, i no marriage has its ups and downs and its great tori and dean are being honest, people would be complaining and calling the show fake if they didn't fight...i mean what 'normal' couple doesnt fight for time to time. I say well done t and d, keep up the show i love it!!!
Sorry to all you haters, but I love her! I have read her books and watched her show, marriages end-I am sure half of you are divorced or cheated. She is a good mother and wife, and if you knew anything about her then you know she isn't rich her mom got ehr cut from her dad's will! But, to the person who said Dean seemed abusive-I get the same vibe!
I'm sorry but its only a matter of time..sorry Tor!! He cheated on his wife with you and married you after 3 weeks!! Something to be proud of for sure. It is OBVIOUS to the world that he did this for notoriety and money. ..too bad its not to you., but maybe it is and you're just too used to getting whatever you want, the thought has not crossed your mind that oh, maybe if he finds someone richer and more famous he'll mooch off of them too! I call it (Kfed/Britney syndrome) I wouldn't put ANYTHING past a man that would leave his wife and child for another woman.

Who ever said marriage was easy. They're just doing it on tv. Good for them. If they love each other and their babies....that's all that matters. It isn't easy being married but I wouldn't have my life any other way. I love my husband...even when I hate him. : )

I don't agree that they are soulmates. They broke up families to be together. I have so little respect for people like that.
Tori is so ugly though she seems pretty nice. He is a total azz. I don't think this marriage will last. He acts so childish and like a baby and you can almost be certain he married her for her money.
"If we were on another series"? That of course will never happen because you have to be able to ACT to be on another series. Tori and Dean deliberately put their private life on TV because they don't have any other work. In fact, Dean was working construction when he met and slept with Tori! He is a gold digging s***bag, and she is the most self-absorbed, ding bat! She claims sometimes she wants to live on a farm and have privacy? Yeah right. Please Tori, buy the farm, be a soccer mom, drive in the carpool and divorce yourself from the film crew you hired to follow you around. The public needs a much needed break from your UGLY self.

I love how Tori and Dean are together. Every couple has their ups and downs, they are human. My husband and I do, but we love each other enough to work it out and we are very in love and happy...we are soulmates...twinflames is the right term. When twinflames meet it is hard for them not to be together....Tori and Dean are twinflames, I feel!
@Joann - yes, plenty of stars divorce and remarry - but the difference is that Dean was MARRIED and they had just adopted a daughter together - not just his wife alone, they were married and adopted the daughter together. Then Dean went away for THREE weeks to file w/ Tori. Came back and left his family. Yea, real stand up guy. Tori cheated on her husband too. I have ZERO respect for either of them. I guess they deserve each other. They're both slimy and she thinks she's a porn star or something. She looks like a man and I suspect that Dean is in it for the money. He had 6 months left in LA before he had to go back to Canada and of course, he wasn't making it. So, connect the dots.
I've watched their reality show and he seems abusive or borderline abusive. Sometimes I wonder if he isn't on some sort of substance. Maybe he's just strange! Either way, he seems sort of mean to her. Her kids are really cute. I feel sorry for her really. People always say such mean things about her and she is a human being. I mean about her looks which is mean. I think she can look pretty.
I don't condone adultrey or breaking up a family but i like Tori. She's a great little actress. What's done in the past is done. The damage is done. I'm sure it's not an easy road and I doubt the marriage will last anyway.
Not yet, Tori. Just remember you were a homewrecker to begin with, so he'll up and leave you too once Mommy takes away your inheritance again.
Dean and his ex do not share a daughter together. She alone adopted her. He spends as much time as he can with his son because his x lives in LA now. I watched her cooking show with Ken and she came across controling and bossy besides being rude to Ken who happens to be gay. She is just a bitter lonely woman now seeking revenge through her book. Many stars etc. divorce and remarry so why keep picking on Tori and Dean?
Tori is not a natural beauty, but she is what she is, and I've always liked her and thought she seemed nice enough. But there is something so creepy and shady about him to me. I've never liked him, and watching their show he seems so selfish. Too bad two kids are involved if there is a divorce. The children are adorable. I really don't see what's so great about him though look wise or anything else.
