Trying to get back on track! Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are continuing to put up a united front for their children and the public as they repair their marriage. The couple appeared to be in high spirits during a recent family trip to the San Diego Zoo on Thursday, Aug. 7.

"We had the best day! Thank you so much @sandiegozoo for everything!" Spelling, 41, captioned a snapshot.

In the pic, McDermott, 47, placed his hand on Spelling's lower back as they posed in front of the zoo sign with their four children, Liam, 7, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 23 months. McDermott's 15-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace, also appeared to be getting in on the fun.

The couple have been working on their marriage since Us broke news of McDermott's infidelity last December. In May, they were spotted getting a couple's massage in L.A. and celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary with a quiet dinner at sushi eatery Katsu-Ya in Encino, Calif. (The season finale of their Lifetime series Tru Tori, which documented their marital woes, also aired that month.)

"It's a work in progress," Spelling told Us of their relationship at ABC's party during the Television Critics Association press tour in L.A. on July 15. "We're definitely committed to being a family. We're working on things."
