Nick and Vanessa Lachey are now parents two times over.
Vanessa gave birth Monday to a daughter, the second child for the couple who has been married since 2011. The proud mom announced baby's arrival in a post on her website.
"She’s HERE!!!! Nick, Camden and I are SO excited to announce the birth of our sweet, beautiful baby girl, Brooklyn Elisabeth Lachey!" the 34-year-old wrote on Tuesday. "She was born January 5th, 2015 at 5:17pm. She weighed in at 7 pounds 15 ounces, is 21 inches long and has already won over all of our hearts."
The former TRL hostess continued, "I have been dreaming of this moment for as long as I can remember, the day I was going to meet my little girl. A friend recently told me how magical today was going to be because it’s the day I would meet my best friend. I can’t even begin to tell you how it felt to hold her in my arms for the very first time. Mommy, Daddy and big brother Cam love you so much already, Brooklyn!"
Vanessa ended by thanking fans for their "love and support," saying, "it means so much to our family."
Nick and Vanessa are already the parents of a son Camden who was born in September 2012. In November, the Big Morning Buzz Live host, 41, dished about how excited he was to have a daughter. "You always hear about the relationship between a father and daughter — and as much as I love Camden, I can't imagine loving a child more," he told RadarOnline. "But everyone tells me there's just something different about having a little girl. So I'm excited to experience a different kind of love."
