You can't tell-all about me! Vicki Gunvalson has told Us Weekly that Brooks Ayers' alleged tell-all book will have one very big exception: He won't be talking about her.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star's ex-boyfriend made claims of his book to Page Six on Tuesday, January 19, which, he says, will reveal the truth behind reputation-damaging story lines (such as his cancer-faking controversy), which he says producers fabricated for ratings.
The reality star admits to having taken part in the show of his own free will but says he blames much of the public backlash on Gunvalson’s 28-year-old daughter, Briana Culberson.
“[She] hates my guts," he told the outlet, "and got paid handsomely the past three seasons to do nothing but bring drama into her own mom’s life regarding me. I’m going to expose all of that,” he revealed.
But, as Gunvalson's rep told Us Weekly exclusively in a statement, there's a big, big limit to the stories Ayers is legally allowed to tell — and none of them can be about his ex.
"Vicki is not at all concerned about her former boyfriend writing a book," the statement reads. "He can write whatever he wants except he cannot write about Vicki, her career, family or anything else concerning her. Vicki long ago had the boyfriend sign a fiercely written and executed confidentiality agreement. He cannot write about her at all. That was signed in the very beginning [of their relationship]."
Despite threats of a tell-all book, Ayers insisted he means no harm to Gunvalson, insisting his desire to clear his name is just reputation management.
“I want nothing but the best for her, and she wants the best for me,” he told Page Six. “I’m not doing this because she did it to me, but she’s a grown woman and she’s making business decisions to continue earning money. I’m a grown man, and I want to do what I can do to rehab my reputation.”
