Replacements for Snooki, the Situation et al? Fuhggedaboutit!
Amidst chatter that the second season of MTV's reality hit Jersey Shore will feature an all-new gang (in the manner of the Real World franchise), cast member Vinny Guadagnino claimed otherwise to New York's Daily News Tuesday.
"They want us to do another season," Guadagnino said at an afterparty for the film Youth in Revolt at club La Pomme.
The newly-minted reality star also furthered talk that the self-described "guidos and guidettes" are cashing in on their fame via paid appearances. "We can't really go out and make unpaid appearances," Vinny said, declining an invite to leave La Pomme for another club.
The Daily News breaks down the supposed fees the cast demands of event promoters: DJ Pauly D and Snooki charge $7500 per event; lovebirds Ronni Magro and Sammi Giancolo show up together for a $3000 "package deal," while Vinny commands $3500.
Want to party with the whole crew en masse? It'll cost almost $30,000 the Daily News claims.
