Charlie Puth is dangerously hot in his new music video, which dropped Wednesday, November 2.
Clad in a tight white tee and distressed jeans, the “Dangerously” singer confronts an ex-girlfriend in the mirror and then later punches the image, shattering the glass and bruising his knuckles.
The 24-year-old’s emotions and love life often inspire his music, he previously told Us Weekly. “It’s real-life experiences,” explained the single stud, who released his debut album, Nine Track Mind, in January. “It’s about a lot of girls in my life. Being alone.”
In the past, he’s been quick to serenade girls with his soulful, passionate lyrics. “I pull it off like, ‘Hey, can you tell me if this song is any good?’” he joked to Us. “I’m a huge dork!”
And he admits he’s even hooked up to his passionate hits before, albeit by accident. “It was a record I produced and wrote for Trey Songz called ‘Slow Motion,’” the New Jersey native said. “It just happened to be on the playlist. It just happened to come on at that time when that was happening! It was pretty interesting.”
More recently, the “One Call Away” crooner was forced to cancel his Don’t Talk tour while he recovers from the flu.
“This is the last thing I want because I love being on the road performing and meeting every one of you,” he wrote on Twitter October 23 about his cancelled shows. “You are the reason I can do what I love most for a living and I am so thankful.”
