Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina Dance to Prince’s ‘Raspberry Beret’ in Throwback Video

The ultimate throwback. Whitney Houston and her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, can hardly contain their excitement as they dance and sing along to Prince’s “Raspberry Beret” in a 2011 clip that made its rounds online just days after the “Purple Rain” singer’s untimely death on Thursday, April 21.

The short one-minute clip, shared on Facebook on Friday, shows Houston, who died in February 2012, and Brown, who died in July 2015, animated and having a blast as they serenade one another and scream at the stage.

At one point, the “I Will Always Love You” singer looks directly at the camera as she points proudly at her daughter. Brown then wraps her arms around her mom in a big bear hug.

That same evening, Houston joined Prince on stage, but the “When Doves Cry” singer soon lead her back off stage after she sang a few lines and danced.

In May of that same year, a spokesperson for the legendary Grammy winner announced that Houston was being treated for drug use and addiction.

“I can confirm that Whitney Houston is currently in an outpatient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment,” the rep told ABC News at the time. “Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process.”

Less than one year later, on the eve of the 2012 Grammys, the singer was found dead in the bathtub at her Beverly Hills hotel room.

Brown died at the age of 22 on July 26, 2015, after spending nearly six months in a coma following her near-drowning in a bathtub of her Atlanta home.

Prince was found dead in an elevator at his Paisley Park residence in Chanhassen, Minnesota, at the age of 57.
