Ah, the World Cup! Everyone’s excuse to watch sweat-covered men sprint down the field for the honor of their respective countries. And while patriotism is all well and good, sexiness does not discriminate based on country.

Since the 2014 World Cup kicked off in Brazil on June 12, we’ve been treated to seeing the most ripped soccer stars on the globe leaving it all on the field for the chance to take home a victory.

The sexy team captain and forward has abs for days, which he showed off during the Germany vs. Portugal game on June 16.

2. Kyle Beckerman (USA)

The dreads, the chiseled stomach, the tattoos! American midfielder Beckerman makes us feel quite patriotic.

3. Mats Hummels (Germany)

His sculpted goatee makes German defender Hummels look like a soccer-playing Captain Jack Sparrow.
