Yolanda Foster’s RHOBH Castmates React to Her Divorce Announcement: “It’s Very Upsetting”

Fans weren’t the only ones surprised by Yolanda and David Foster‘s divorce announcement on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Some of her costars on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills told Us Weekly on Thursday, Dec. 3, that they didn’t see the split coming at all, despite spending time with the couple in recent months.

“I’m still really shocked about it,” Eileen Davidson told Us at the RHOBH premiere party in Hollywood, noting that she’d texted with Yolanda a few times this week. “I have seen her and David together in the last season a few times, and it seemed fine . . . Nobody knows what’s going on with them.”

Kathryn Edwards, Lisa Vanderpump, Erika Girardi, Yolanda Foster, Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards and Eileen Davidson attend the premiere party for Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 6 at W Hollywood on December 3, 2015 in Hollywood, California.

Show alum Camille Grammer added to Us that the timing was “terrible,” given Yolanda’s ongoing battle with Lyme disease. “She’s gone through so much with her health and now this,” Grammer, 47, said. “But you know, she’s a very strong woman.”

Lisa Vanderpump and Lisa Rinna, meanwhile, both said they’d reached out to their costar after her announcement.

“Honestly, I don’t even want to say anything, but I did send her something. I did send them flowers,” Vanderpump shared. “I thought they were really a lovely couple. It’s very upsetting. It really affected Ken [Todd] and I.”

Rinna and her husband, Harry Hamlin, were similarly affected by the news. “Harry and I have sent our love and prayers, and you know, divorce is a very sad thing,” she told Us.

Yolanda, for her part, said she was focusing on the future and leaning on her daughters, models Gigi and Bella Hadid, and her son, Anwar Hadid, for support.

“I’m grateful to have a job and I hope to be moving forward to a brighter future and I’m just trying to get through it one day at a time,” the reality star, 51, told Us at the premiere. “My Gigi, my Bella, and my Anwar are my forever. I guess that’s my only forever.”
