Young Boy Steals the Show at Kentucky High School Basketball Game With Epic Dance Moves to “Happy”

Can’t nothing bring him down! A young fan stole the show at the Kentucky High School Athletic Association’s basketball tournament on Friday, March 20. 

Taking in the action from the stands, the energetic reveler caught the attention of fans and players when he started breaking it down to Pharrell Williams‘ “Happy.” He made his way up and down the stands, shimmying and shaking to the music.

He worked it next to the court for a verse, getting the coaches and warming-up players to crack a smile. As he continued his impressive routine, the other fans started clapping along, cheering the boy on as he grooved. 

As the song continued, the surprise performer incorporated trickier moves, clapping under his knees and even wiggling all the way down to the floor.

When the 2013 smash hit finally wrapped, the fan let out an exhausted breath and began to climb the stairs. He got a strong ovation from the audience members, who reached to give him high fives as he left. 

The stunning performance quickly went viral, making it all the way to Williams himself. The Grammy winner, 41, shared a link to the clip via Twitter, adding, “He experienced no limits. Every kid needs to know they all possess the potential to access that feeling.”
