Peace and love from Japan! Zac Efron and girlfriend Sami Miro are currently on a trip together in Japan, and the Dirty Grandpa actor has been showing off an impressive new accessory via social media.
“Whats up,” he captioned a shot of himself relaxing against the beams of a Japanese home on Friday, Nov. 27, adding the Japanese phrase for “hello” in traditional characters.
In the photo, the 28-year-old actor sports an impressive mustache, large shades, and a baseball cap.
Another shot he shared that same day shows him and Miro, 27, sitting cross-legged with their hands in meditative poses on their laps.
“Kyoto,” he captioned the photo, along with the Japanese characters for the old capital city.
Earlier in the week, Efron shared several photos of himself wandering around city streets with his trademark scruff; his new was only revealed on Friday.
Efron and Miro celebrated their first anniversary in September, and have been largely private about their relationship, though the model did open up to Elle magazine back in March.
"I'm not trying to hide anything in my life,” she told the publication. “If I was dating someone who wasn't in the limelight, I might have more photos on [Instagram] of our relationship, but I do think it's important. I mean, it's what is going on in my life, and I think that my social media can still represent that."
