Paging Rooney Mara!
On Thursday, Zachary Quinto stepped outside the Mustard Seed Cafe in Los Feliz, Calif. -- practically unrecognizable, with his trademark, full eyebrows nearly completely shaven off.
It's not really a fashion statement for the 34-year-old star. Shooting has begun on the sequel to Star Trek -- in which he plays Captain Spock, who sports high, drawn-eyebrows, not to mention pointy Vulcan ears.
The handsome Margin Call star made headlines in October when he decided to publicly come out as gay in an interview with New York magazine.
He was inspired by the tragic suicide of Jamey Rodemeyer, a young gay teen. "In light of Jamey's death, it became clear to me in an instant that living a gay life without publicly acknowledging it is simply not enough to make any significant contribution to the immense work that lies ahead on the road to complete equality," Quinto wrote on his personal blog.
