After seven seasons with Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson, Abdul might not have been eager to welcome new judge DioGuardi. She told tabloid OK! that having a fourth judge "doesn't work." Although she said her quote was out of context, DioGuardi was hurt, saying that "Paula has a right to her opinions, but I was disappointed."

No matter what reason it is, but from the audiences point of view, four judges is too much. Maybe Kara has a lot of experience and tons of knowledge about music, but she is not going to attract more audience. She is kind of annoying, that's why I stopped watching AI. Last year I only watched AI for some weeks and got so annoyed by Kara that I stopped watching it. Some of my friends also annoyed by her.
lol paula's just jealous because kara is prettier, smarter, a professional singer/songwriter, and doesn't look high every time she's on air.
