    My husband and I are 17 years apart but most people don't realize it. The majority of people we have met think we are only about 4 years apart. By the way, it had nothing to do with money. When I met my husband, he was returning back to college and both of us were fairly broke. If the couple is happy, then why think twice about it?

    On a maturity level, they are equal. Great child bearing years for them and she will catch up with him age wise. They will both be in their 30's, 40's, etc....they will grow old together
