    Beverly, irregardless,friends should NEVER date other friend's ex. I quote this from Mean Girls movie. even those nasty girls stand on this principle. Unless the other friend made it clear she do not mind at all.

    well, it's just the fact that she dated her "friends" ex. friends are not supposed to date exes. it's just wrong. That means denise mustve been attracted to him all along, the whole time she was friends with heather.

    I don't see what the fuss was all about. According to what I read, Locklear had already filed for divorce from Sambora. It's not like they were separated and trying to work things out between them. In that case, yes, I would say Richards, and any other woman, should stay out of it and give the couple a chance to save their marriage without outside influence. But this was not the case with Locklear and Sambora. She had already filed for divorce, with no chance of reconciliation. Therefore, why was it wrong for Richards to date him? Locklear didn't want him anymore; legal papers were already filed. So why was Locklear so shocked? The divorce was a done deal, except for the formality of the paperwork being done. Of course, they broke up a quite awhile ago, but at the time, they were attracted to each other. She was not "stealing" Locklears' man; Locklear didn't want him. She had filed divorce papers and AFTER that, Richards and Sambora started dating. I don't think that makes her a "homewrecker." The home was already "wrecked." I also don't think it was wrong for Richards to have had a relationship with a man who was legally separated from the wife who didn't want him anymore. In my opinion, case closed.

Although the It's Complicated star had been close friends with Heather Locklear for years, she reportedly had an affair in 2006 with the former Melrose Place actress' husband of 11 years. A year later the reality star and the Bon Jovi guitarist had an "amicable" split.
