Early outfitter: "I lived in morning TV for ten years," says the super-chic Texan who moved to New York a few years ago. "I was up at 4:00 a.m. So my rule is 15 minutes or less. I literally pick out everything the night before, down to my undies. And I don't care if it's rainy or sunny, I don't change. If I have a sweater picked out for the day and it's suddenly 90 degrees, I'll still wear the sweater."

Best fashion tip: Wear white shirts. "They're just so clean and crisp, and you can make them look elegant or put on a pair of jeans. Cheap or expensive, it doesn't matter. A white shirt always looks elegant."

Favorite designers: Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana ("It just fits my body type so well. I ran track my whole life so I have an athletic build, and anything with a little stretch is my friend"), Elizabeth and James, Geren Ford.

"Every time I buy something at Zara, on Fifth Avenue right next door to my hair salon, I'm inundated with emails or people stopping me asking, 'Where did you get that?'"
