Getting down to business!
The well of style inspiration from Amal Alamuddin's wardrobe does not appear to be drying up anytime soon. On Tuesday, April 7, the Columbia Law School visiting professor, 37, stepped out with another winning work-appropriate outfit for lunch at Morandi in New York City.
Channeling the retro air of the '70s, Mrs. Clooney wore a bright orange sleeveless top with a snake-print collar paired with a camel colored high-waisted skirt by Gucci. The knee-length skirt featured flattering details including a center pleat and a mock belt that highlighted her tiny waist. Alamuddin accessorized with a black Balenciaga bag and nude pumps.
Her daytime ensemble was miles more conservative than the leg-baring black Giambattista Valli minidress she wore on Friday, April 3, while on a dinner date with husband George Clooney in New York City.
Alamuddin isn't in the Big Apple just for coffee runs and dinner dates with her husband. Back in March 2015, the British barrister announced her teaching gig at the Columbia Law School.
"It is an honor to be invited as a visiting professor at Columbia Law School alongside such a distinguished faculty and talented student pool," she said in a statement. "I look forward to getting to know the next generation of human rights advocates studying here."
