From riches to riches! Fans of Angelina Jolie can now own her childhood home — but for a hefty penny. The Oscar-winning actress’ Rockland County, New York residence is now on sale for a whopping $2.049 million.
According to Daily Mail, the star moved into the mid-century modern home with her late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, and brother, James Haven, following her parents’ divorce. Bertrand and actor Jon Voight split in April 1980 after nine years of marriage.
The gorgeous two-story, four-bedroom house was built in the 1950s and is located 20 miles north of New York City. It features brick decor and several skylights, as well as wood flooring and a fireplace in the living room.
The 4,000-square-foot property was recently renovated by conductor Eugene Kohn, who purchased it for $1.2 million last year. He previously has bought, flipped, and sold 15 other estates.
“My style is to simplify and restore to the original condition,” Kohn told the Wall Street Journal.
Jolie and her husband, Brad Pitt, now have a home in L.A.’s Los Feliz neighborhood with their six children. As exclusively reported, they recently went house hunting in London and toured a $39 million Westminster mansion.
