Anna Paquin Tried On 100 Dresses Before Finding 'The One'

When it came to picking her Golden Globes gown, patience was definitely a virtue for Anna Paquin!
Before settling on her gold Stella McCartney gown, the True Blood star tried on "about a hundred" dresses, she tells UsMagazine.com.

"I'm probably exaggerating," she jokes.
The work didn't end there. The actress, 27 -- who paired her gown with vintage Stephen Russell jewelry and an Alexander McQueen bag -- tells Us she had "a team" of people helping her prep in the hours before she walked the red carpet alongside costar and fiance Stephen Moyer, 40.

"I'm very good at leaving madam alone when it comes to these things," Moyer jokes. "The team is working, and I'm upstairs by myself."
Still, the two managed to enjoy their "date night" on Sunday.

"It is rare because at the moment, a lot of the stuff that we are doing is not together on the show," he says of their busy schedules. "So in that respect, yes, we kind of have to introduce ourselves to each other once every week."
