Daddy's little girl! Ariel Winter may star in the Emmy-winning comedy Modern Family, but she's also a teen just excited to attend prom! The actress posed with her dad Glenn Workman for an adorable photo before enjoying the rite of passage with her boyfriend Laurent Claude Gaudette on Tuesday, April 28.
"Dad saw me off to #prom!! Love him," Winter, 17, captioned the Instagram snapshot. (Winter's sister, Shanelle Gray, was granted permanent guardianship over her younger sibling in May 2014, following a long battle with Winter's mother Chrisoula "Crystal" Workman. Glenn has financial guardianship over the star until she turns 18 in January 2016. There was no mention of her mom in the prom photos.)
The actress wowed in a mature dark navy lace illusion gown with an open keyhole back and plunging neckline. She wore her hair down with tousled curls and added a smoky eye.
In a second pic, Winter leaned into her longtime beau. "Shmoopberry and I take prom," she gushed. "#prom #prom2015."
Just days earlier, Winter shared how Gaudette asked her to the big dance in a cute Instagram video. "Got asked to prom with someone jumping out of a box pelting flowers at me and holding up a prom sign," she wrote on April 24. "I love you so much baby!"
