Bangs are making a big comeback. Jennifer Hudson sported a blunt cut at the Grammys and everyone from Kim Kardashian to Nicole Richie to Rachel Bilson have found themselves with forehead fringe!

If you love the look but can't handle the bi-monthly trips to the salon to get them trimmed, try my simple technique. (Watch the clip above.)
With just a few quick snips -- vertically, of course -- you'll be able to maintain your bangs as long as you'd like!

3Your resident makeup artist Gwen is terrible - she blows on the brushes and false lashes then applies them to the model (a major no, no). She's random with her method and her work is not that highly skilled. At the end of the viewing the models look terrible. Get her off videos as makeup artist.
1. The bangs looked better before trim and 2. How does that video have anything at all to do with trimming your bangs YOURSELF when a stylist just did it for the person????? We have all watched our own stylist trim our bangs, if we have them, so what is the point of the video?? Plus, if you are cutting your own bangs that is NOT the way you want to do it. They should be wet and you should pull the rest of your hair well back out of the way. Once cut ALMOST straight across (leave a slight angle on each side so it makes a smooth line into the rest of your hair, then pull them straight up with your fingers and THEN do the vertical notches. That way when they fall they look natural and not like a bowl cut like the model!
as someone who has cut their bangs MANY MANY times before, its nice to have a few hairbands off to the side just in case you get a little too scissor happy. that way, you can wear the headbands until they grow in enough to fix again! i just cut my bangs on friday! they look great!
