Of all the New Moon kids, I've always loved Ashley Greene's creamy complexion and girl-next-door good looks. However, I hadn't really noticed her hair -- until now!
Star colorist Jason Backe (who's worked with Anne Hathaway, Renee Zelwegger and Claire Danes) tells UsMagazine.com: "I took Ashley from almost solid black to a medium rich brown with highlights."
The trick to the natural-looking richness of this shade is that Backe placed the highlights 1/4 to 1/2 inches away from her part.

1That's not really lightening up. Her hair is still dark. She looks so pretty as a brunette though I hope she doesn't lighten up like Kim Kardashian did last summer. There are enough blondes in Hollywood.
