J.Lo is not my favorite, but as far as hair goes at the Grammys, I'm still kvelling over this reminiscent-of-Studio 54-in-the-early-'80s look. After seasons of either super-straight or sleek curls, I find Jennifer Lopez's voluminous, bouncy waves refreshing and seriously sexy.

The key to the retro look? A below-the-shoulder blunt cut.

Star stylist Robert Vetica used Moroccanoil products (my faves!) to coax the style into place. First he applied Morooccanoil Treatment to nourish strands, then he curled small sections with a one-inch iron. After brushing out the set hair, he locked on shine with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray.

I grew up in the early eighties, and I do not remember women wearing their hair like this unless they just woke up or blow-dried their hair. Women were still sporting variations of the Farrah 'do, plus a lot of frizzy perms and precise layered cuts. p.s., I wish JLo would lay off of the pale lipstick. It always makes her look so washed out.

They're always trying to sell women the same old thing with a new name. Wavy hair is now "the Disco look"? How silly.

yah, but when is her hair going to look hispanic again? Most hispanics are not blondes.
