Serena van der Woodsen, is that you? Blake Lively stepped out in New York City on Wednesday, Feb. 12, looking like she was on the set of Gossip Girl. Despite the chilly weather in the Big Apple (the temperature high was 24 degrees!), the 26-year-old actress dressed in super-short black leather shorts for her outing in Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood.
Lively paired the barely-there bottoms with a gray plaid sweater and a statement necklace. To help her keep warm, the former CW star also wore a long black dress coat, sheer black tights and black knee-high socks. She completed the school-girl look with black lace-up oxfords.
Ryan Reynolds' wife attended Mercedes-Benz NYC Fashion Week on Wednesday, and sat front row at the Michael Kors show between actresses Freida Pinto and Rose Byrne. She wore a different ensemble to attend the event, but still showed off her slim, toned legs in a Michael Kors embroidered wool-blend skirt and matching short-sleeve blazer.
In a November 2013 interview with Vogue Paris, Lively credited her busy lifestyle for how she keeps in such great shape. "I'm lucky to have an active lifestyle. I'm always on the go," Lively said. "I don't need to have a [trainer] or pay attention to what I eat. I can't start my day without a cup of hot milk chocolate or finish without crunching a few dark chocolate squares. It's good for my morale."
