Who wears short, shorts? Bradley Cooper was caught on set of his upcoming film American Sniper sporting really short-shorts.

The recently bulked up actor, who is portraying the late real-life Navy SEAL Chris Kyle in the film, donned an incredibly tiny and tight pair of tan shorts while filming scenes on set in Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 4. Cooper paired the shorts, which resemble those worn in the Navy for training, with a white T-shirt which read "Kyle."

In between takes the 39-year-old actor, along with costar and real-life Navy SEAL Kevin Lacz, were spotted doing workout exercises while getting sprayed by a hose. The American Hustle star is said to have put on at least 40 pounds for the role.

The Clint Eastwood-directed flick, which also stars Sienna Miller, is based off Kyle's autobiography and recount's his impressive military career, which includes more than 150 confirmed kills and earned him the nickname "Devil of Ramadi" by insurgents during his deployment to Ramadi.
