Video: Carrie Underwood's Dog Picked Her Super Bowl Outfit
No wonder Carrie Underwood caught a little flack for her Super Bowl outfit.
Her dog, Ace, picked it out!
As the singer, 26, gave a tour of her Miami hotel room days before the big game, she showed off piles of clothes that were all "potential things I could be wearing" when she would sing the National Anthem.

"Lots of good stuff, lots of pretty things," she said, eyeing her sparkly tops and pants.
Although she already tried most of them on, she admitted that "sometimes I need a little help making a decision" on the final choice.

"Ace is the tie-breaker," she said of her rat terrior pet, whom she has had for three years.
Then, Ace jumped on the couch and sniffed the outfits before settling on one. (Watch the clip above.)
"That one?" Underwood asked. "You like that one? I do too!"

The pooch had another job during their trip.
"It can get a little taxing every once in awhile," Underwood said of the constant traveling. "Which is why I'm glad I have lots of good things with me to make things a little bit easier, like my dog!"

I agree with Jim - it's all just jealousy! People need to stop taking every little thing a celebrity does or says and making it into something negative!!! The dog 'picking' her outfit was NOT an insult, perhaps 'Mike' wasn't around, and perhaps it was just meant as something cute!!! If a celebrity is too skinny, people are complaining, if a celebrity is too fat, people are complaining. Lighten up people - if all you have to worry about is THIS, then perhaps you need something more fulfilling in your life.
Her fiance is ONLY doing the "charitable" act for a publicity stunt- and just so he can impress Carrie- and get what he wants from her- men dump women once they get them into bed...
She's gone from a sweet, simple girl to a Hoolywood diva. She lets her dog choose outfits for important occasions, she wears way too much makeup - especially eye makeup - and she's gotten down to a size 2 to make Hollywood happy. I recall her comment about losing weight recently in Us Magazine, "I need to be fit and healthy for all I have to do." Sorry, but that translates to "I have to conform to the entertainment industry's standards for how I have to look." Being a size 2 has nothing to do with fitnesss. I'm just not impressed with how she's gone Hollywood.

I have to agree with mitha08's comment: it really IS an insult if she "let" her dog choose her out fit for such an important event as siniging the National Anthem at the Super Bowl- Carrie has gone from a sweet down to earth girl to a high maintenance diva it seems...and why didn't Mike help her choose her outfit if she needed help with that?? You'd think she would ask her FIANCE- the man she intends to MARRY-if she wanted an opinion about her outfit...and I also have to agree with Sarah's comment: will the dog choose her wedding dress as well??I have to ask what is wrong w/this girl....I agree with Sarah: Mike is in for a RUDE RUDE shock after the wedding!!!!

The outfit was spectacular and Carrie looked gorgeous. What happened was Carrie had 4 or 5 outfits she liked a lot so at that point she let Ace decide. It really wasn't that complicated.
She let her dog choose her outfit? No wonder it looked horrible. It didn't fit. It was too small and tight. She's a small person, generally, but she has bulges that the outfit clearely showed. Will the dog choose her wedding dress, too? If it does, Mike is in for a rude surprise at their wedding.
