Talk about brutal honesty!
Stylist to the stars Robert Verdi would love to help Jessica Simpson reinvigorate her style. "Her look is boring," Verdi told UsMagazine.com at Nia Long's 40th birthday party.
But if Simpson wants to revamp her famous blonde locks, she'll have to find somebody new. Her longtime hairstylist and BFF Ken Paves recently revealed that she's no longer on his client list. "We're both busy," Paves told E! News, adding that he's been "working on a lot of things that have kept me in town or traveling."
So what exactly would Verdi, who has styled Eva Longoria Parker and Kathy Griffin, do to spruce up Simpson's look?
"I would change her up constantly because she is not diverse enough," Verdi told Us. "I would give her a Hitchcock heroine look, a 1950s look, [and] some serious 1960s hippie look."
One style he wouldn't change, though, is the fit of Simpson's clothes. "Tight always looks better than loose when you are being photographed and when you are on television," Verdi told Us. "You err on the side of tight no matter what."
