May the #ForceFriday be with you! It won’t take a Jedi mind trick for Star Wars fans with some cash to burn to love this Millennium Falcon-inspired bed, now available on Pottery Barn Kids for $3,999.
The hand-painted bed, which is only available in twin size (sorry to all the Star Wars couple fans out there), is fashioned out of solid hardwood after the left side of the Millennium Falcon Star Wars ship, where, in the original series, Han Solo and Luke Skywalker aimed lasers at enemies in space.
The bed’s headboard features ship controls, while the foot represents the glass pod seen on the ship, ridden by Chewbacca, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo.
A whole host of new merchandise, like Chewbacca-Furbies called Furbaccas, Star Wars-themed designer Duck Tape, and the latest iteration of light sabers, are available Friday, Sept. 4, in honor of “Force Friday” to celebrate the latest installment of the series, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, out December 18.
The J.J. Abrams-directed flick will star many of the first trilogy’s actors, including Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher as well as newcomers to the franchise, like Lupita Nyong’o, Girls’ Adam Driver, and Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie.
