Ciara Reveals Her Must-Have Fall Fashions, Shoe Addiction

Fans of Ciara's sexy red carpet gowns and tomboy chic street fashions are in luck. While filming an episode for MTV's House of Style as part of Degree's IMPROVER campaign, the "I'm Out" singer, 28, told Us Weekly the secrets to her effortlessly cool style and her go-to designers.

"I think there is something cool about when a girl can have the feminine within a tough look," she told Us. "Sometimes simplicity is a statement. Less is more. So, when you can not try too hard and be fly? That's when it's dope to me."

Ciara, who welcomed son Future Zahir Wilburn back in May, depends on go-to pieces that mix and match well. "You always have to have a jacket that can go with anything," she told Us. "I have a favorite jacket from Balmain that Olivier [Rousteing, the fashion house's creative director] gave to me. It’s a red suede jacket, and it's insane. I can dress it up or dress it down."

While she calls out Givenchy red carpet dresses and Calvin Klein for underwear ("They also have some really cool, sexy pajamas") and frequently wears Topshop, KTZ and Hood by Air, Ciara's real obsession is shoes.

"You know when they say, 'Diamonds are a girl's best friend,' to me, shoes are a girl's best friend," the Balmain sneaker-clad "Like A Boy" singer told Us. "When I love a shoe, I want a shoe."

As the weather turns chillier, the Kim Kardashian pal will fall black on a classic heel. "I'm always into my classic Louboutins. I love the Daffodile because it's very edgy and rock'n'roll and sexy at the same time," she told Us. "I also love Azzedine Alaia boots. They're always amazing."
