Move over, 20-somethings! Cindy Crawford may be 48 years old, but that hasn’t stopped the supermodel from being her sexiest self ever.
Crawford slipped into an ice blue Roberto Cavalli dress for the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday, Nov. 1, that more than showcased the ageless beauty’s assets, and put the other (younger) A-listers to shame.
The dress by Cavalli, whose work the mole-lipped model has worn consistently through the years, boasted a pale blue hue (shall we call it “Elsa blue“?), faded metallic animal stripes, and rock-star stud detailing.
But even more so than the color or the embellishments, the frock’s fit is what wowed here! While Jennifer Lopez, Kate Hudson, Selena Gomez, and more turned heads in their floor-sweeping looks, Crawford, in this dress with a plunging neckline and body-conscious cut, appeared just as fabulous as she did in her high-fashion campaigns from the ’90s.
This isn’t the first time we were reminded how glorious the Meaningful Beauty cosmetics co-creator still looks—even this week! on Oct. 27, Crawford posted a selfie without makeup in support of UNICEF’s #WakeUpCall campaign.
And according to Crawford, that face all comes down to a balanced diet. “[Meaningful Beauty partner Dr. Sebagh] says to pick a weight that you can maintain and stay there. Don’t pick your skinniest weight because that’s not maintainable,” the mom of two told Us Weekly. “And don’t yo-yo, because that’s not good for the elasticity of your skin. Just try to stay within five pounds of your weight.”
