And he held a Blue Steel the whole time!
As Vogue‘s February cover boy, Derek Zoolander answered the fashion bible’s 73 questions, and you know he didn’t disappoint.

While giving a tour of his NYC loft — and noting up front that he only has nine answers in rotation — the beloved big-screen model (played by Ben Stiller) did his best to answer the queries, including why he hates the subway, his pets’ names (Karl Dogerfeld!) and his cheat meals. (Hint: They’re not solids.)
He also talked about a serious issue dear to his heart: chafing. “[The hardest part of modeling is] all the chafing!” he said. “There’s a lot of chafing going on out there, and nobody wants to talk about it. Let’s begin the conversation.”
And perhaps best yet, Zoolander (whose second film hits theaters on February 12) revealed his plans for retirement — or lack thereof. “Models don’t retire, they get turned into glue,” he noted. “It’s better that way.”
