The mother of one, 35, paired her layered brown bob, with black eyeglasses and a tweed business suit for an appearance on Tuesday, Nov. 18 on ABC’s The View to discuss her new children’s book, The Squickerwonkers.
For her book signing at Barnes & Nobles in New York City on Monday, Nov. 17, Lilly wore yet another eclectic ensemble — a cropped blazer with a voluminous red plaid skirt, and a matching hat.
The debut of the Hobbit star’s new style comes as she embarks on a new career as a children’s book author.
“I was not entirely satisfied with my career as an actress and was looking for something that would fulfill me creatively and give me all the things that I wanted out of a job,” Lilly explained to the New York Daily News.
