Drumroll, please!
Following in the fierce footsteps of Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, and Hilary Duff, Fifth Harmony has just been announced as the latest Candie’s models. And Us Weekly has an exclusive behind-the-scenes photo from the shoot (above)!
The girl group, which consists of Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen, and Lauren Jauregui, posed for the label’s Fall 2015 ad campaign. Each lady chose and styled her own ensembles for the shoot. The dominant color of the ads? The brand’s signature hue, bubblegum pink, of course. But the most fun fact of all: No girl group has posed for Candie’s since 2001, back when Destiny’s Child was tapped to front the brand.
Exclusively to Us, Cabello, 18, shared that there’s one thing that gets all the girls ready for a photo shoot: “We like to listen to music that gets us hyped! That’s really important.” And nothing is left to chance! Kordei, 19, added, “Before I even step out to do the photos, I take selfies of myself—practice my angles, lighting, and everything.”
While the ladies are surely loving their new Candie’s loot, they also dished on their all-time favorite fashion pieces. Ally Brooke, 21, told Us, “If you raid my closet, I have these glitter silver sparkly boots, just like Michael Jackson‘s [‘Rock With You’ shoes]. I call them my ‘Michael Jackson Glitter Boots’!” And there’s one thing Jauregui, 18, said they all share: “We have rhinestoned, cheetah-print onesies.”
Most of all, though, Fifth Harmony is just proud to join the impressive list of women who have modeled for the label (exclusively available at Kohl’s). “It feels so legit that we are Candie’s girls because those [previous models]—Britney Spears, Hayden Panetierre, Vanessa Hudgens—they’re such strong women,” Cabello said in a statement. “The fact that we’re kind of doing the same thing… It’s such an honor. It’s literally the coolest thing.”
