Not your typical drive-thru attire. Gigi Hadid ordered fast food from In-N-Out while wearing a sparkly designer dress — all in the name of Vogue. As part of a video titled "Supermodel Gigi Hadid Does Los Angeles Like You've Never Seen Before," Hadid invited cameras to take an inside look at her daily routine.
And, in case you were wondering what a model orders at In-N-Out, the Maybelline brand ambassador, 21, who landed her first-ever cover for the fashion glossy's August issue, ordered a double-double, fries and a chocolate-vanilla milkshake at the burger joint, in full glam of course.
She visited more than just the takeout window while out and about all around Los Angeles. In the video, the Gigi x Tommy Hilfiger designer tries to board a celebrity tour bus, helps a stranger park (and narrowly avoid collision) and plays tourist on Rodeo Drive — all in high-fashion pieces.
"So, Vogue, we're walking down the street. I love Rodeo because it's just a little place to escape," she says in the clip, before heading into her ride, where a song from her boyfriend Zayn Malik is playing on the radio. "Turn it up! Like way up!"
What else is included in Hadid's totally normal, average-girl daily routine? Waking up in full glam and high heels, working out in designer lingerie, jumping into a pool wearing a gown, oh, and FaceTiming with famed photog Mario Testino, who happened to shoot her cover with Olympic decathlete Ashton Eaton.
Olympic blood runs through Hadid's veins too. Her father, Mohamed Hadid, competed in downhill skiing in France in 1992. "He went when he was, like, 43," Gigi said of her father. "[He had] horrible [knees]; that's why he had to stop skiing."
