Shine on, girl! Melissa McCarthy showed off her hourglass figure in a metallic gown at the 73rd Golden Globes in L.A. on Sunday, January 10.
McCarthy, 45, who is a lead actress nominee for her comedy Spy, looked stunning in the shiny dress (that she designed herself!), accessorizing with a silver clutch, Kimberly Mcdonald jewelry, and black strappy heels.
The Mike and Molly star was beaming as she told E! host Ryan Seacrest that the Globes are one of her favorite parties. “It’s always crazy,” she said. “It’s the wedding where you get to see everybody again, it’s exciting to be here!”
Her husband of 10 years, Ben Falcone, joked with Seacrest that McCarthy took out her karate-heavy Spy training on him while getting ready for filming. “She was beating the hell out of me in preparation for the role — that’s what she told me,” he said.
The funny pair also brought the laughs to Twitter on the way to the show. "Heading to the @goldenglobes with the lovely @melissamccarthy – we're single and ready to mingle! Wait…" Falcone wrote.

McCarthy responded to with her own tweet — a pithy shout-out to infidelity site Ashley Madison. "I'm not sure Ben knows what that saying means, but Ashley Madison did sponsor his tux," she said.
