While most girls their age wear UGGs and hang out at the mall, Hailee Steinfeld, 14, and Elle Fanning, 13, are getting decked out in designer duds and scoring invites to exclusive fashion soirees.
The teen starlets hit up an A-list dinner at the Chanel boutique in Los Angeles on Thursday night sporting chic, yet age-appropriate ensembles from the luxe label.

The True Grit actress, who posed for a Miu Miu's Autumn/Winter 2011 ad campaign, wore a high-neck, long sleeve print mini dress with black patent leather ankle boots. She paired the look with a cute braided hairstyle.

Fanning, who is currently one of the faces of Marc Jacobs, chose an equally covered-up black ruffled top with a cream colored pleated shorts. She accessorized with a demure headband and pumps.

Anonymous, Elle fanning is wearing shorts, I am not sure a slip would fit well. It's a stretch, but I suppose a person could find the sexuality in a pair of shorts and heals... if that's what they came looking for.
What colors are under her skirt?? I can't see anything. I think she could have looked a little more age appropriate with flats on rather than heels, but to be honest that skirt is a lot longer than most clothing options out there for teens. Not condoning anything, just saying how clothes are for teens.
Am I the only person who thought that Elle Fanning needed a slip under her skirt? A person isn't supposed to see the colors you wear under the skirt if you are going for a demure look, as they said her look was in the article. And there is nothing demure about showing almost as much leg as a swimsuit does while out in public. These girls are too young to be advertising their sexuality, which is what Elle is doing by exposing so much leg in those overly-sexed heels.
