Hair Stylist: Kate Gosselin "Excited" With New 'Do

Kate Gosselin wasn't afraid to mix up her trademark look, says hair stylist Lavette Slater, who is responsible for the reality star's new wavy look.
"Kate is a beautiful woman and I wanted to expand on her already famous locks and try something new, fun and whimsical," Slater tells Usmagazine.com. "Kate was excited and gave me carte blanche to experiment and create a new look."

Adds Slater (who also styles Sherri Shepherd's hair), "As a mother of 8 children, you don't always have time to style your hair and this was the perfect opportunity to show a different look for Kate."
Kate, 34, agrees. During Tuesday's "Hot Topics" panel - where she first debuted the look - she gushed, "Isn't it cute?"

This has become a circus, TLC is also encouraging the divorce and the division of this family. They now are editing the kids saying they have more fun with Mommy then Daddy. Wow but really its all about the kids huh. Kate will contuine to do this show for as long as the media is interested. She has gotten the fame she wanted, and as for Jon well he liked being a dad but know he gets to play the playboy after years of being Kates puppet. those kids are beautiful and have gotten so many things from this show, but at what cost? But Kate said yesterday on the View this would have happened with or with out the show!

How did Kate take the high road? By doing about four People interviews, telling the media that "Jon's actions" left her no choice but to file divorce papers, and going on Larry King? She threw Jon under the bus in these interviews but did it in her insane, passive, aggressive way of hers. Oh, and she was terrible on the View, the other women didn't let her speak and Whoopie forgot to introduce her yesterday.
