Halle Berry is a pro at working the red carpet. So when it comes to choosing her look for Sunday's Golden Globes Awards on NBC, the Frankie and Alice nominated actress knows it's a process.
"I look at everything someone wants me to wear," the four-time Golden Globe nominee tells Hollywood Uncensored with Halle Berry on Reelz Channel. "I look at it all, and I decide by what it looks like on."
And for Berry and her glam squad, that means spending time in each and every dress. "We test it, we get in different kinds of lights, we walk in it, we sit in it, we make sure that in every possible scenario, it looks good," she says.
The 44-year-old actress, known for dramatic red carpet wear like low-necklines and sheer paneling, is clearly not afraid of taking risks. "Sometimes things are a little see-through. I think, God gave us legs so why not see them?" she explains. "It may look like a faux-pas, but it's meant to be."
As for jewels, Berry says that she's so over having glamorous loaners from high-priced designers. "I'm getting to the point where I won't wear Cinderella jewelry anymore because I don't like that feeling of my chariot turning into a pumpkin," she says. "I'm starting to wear my own jewelry so that I don't need to be stripped at the end so I can leave with my dignity."
