A different type of jumpsuit! Heidi Klum and Padma Lakshmi rocked the same skintight overalls just two weeks apart. Despite the fact that the garment is typically worn over, well, something, both celebs opted to sport the look without shirts.
The Project Runway host, 43, looked statuesque in the Stella McCartney Denim Overalls ($845, net-a-porter.com) on Wednesday, June 15, in NYC. She paired the flared design, which features deep, rectangular pocket details and clip-in clasps, with sky-high wedges and a camel tote. Stacks of delicate bangles and oversized shades topped off the retro ensemble. She completed the look with her hair slicked back into an elegant chignon.
Lakshmi, 45, rocked the same style on Thursday, June 30, while out and about in New York with her daughter, Krishna. The Top Chef star showed off her curves in the fitted look, and dressed it down with a pair of gold flip-flops and shades. A single, delicate metallic necklace added a little sparkle to the all-jean outfit.
Though Lakshmi has nothing to hide in the second-skin jumpsuit, she confessed many secrets in her memoir, Love, Loss and What We Ate, released in March. In the book, she discussed her difficult 2007 divorce from Salman Rushdie, her endometriosis battle and the paternity of her little girl.
“It probably wasn’t the best choice, but it was the choice that I made at the time,” she revealed to Today anchor Matt Lauer on March 8. “I didn’t want to be in a serious relationship. I was still really hurting from my divorce. I probably shouldn’t have been with anybody and just taken the time I needed for myself. But I was presented with two very different, very interesting men. Men do it all the time. I chose to do it, and I was open with the men involved. I’m going to own my history.”
