On March 1, the fashion spotlight shifted from A-List ladies to the gentlemen as they dominated the red carpet at the Independent Spirit Awards.
Despite the fact that fashion legends like Cate Blanchett and new trendsetters like Lupita Nyong'o walked the carpet, leading men like Jared Leto and Matthew McConaughey managed to attract more attention with their eccentric style.
Leto, 42, looked more like he was ready to head on stage with his band Thirty Seconds to Mars than to accept the award for Best Supporting Actor. Wearing Saint Laurent black jeans, a black leather jacket and a red flannel shirt tied around his waist, the Dallas Buyers Club star looked effortlessly cool on the carpet. And his now-infamous wavy locks were down at his shoulders versus up in his signature man bun.
And Leto wasn't the only Dallas Buyers Club star to turn it out on the red carpet. His partner in crime, Matthew McConaughey, dazzled in a bronze metallic Dolce & Gabbana suit and vest with royal blue suede shoes as proud wife Camila Alves stood by his side in an all-white peplum jumpsuit.
Up-and-comer Michael B. Jordan turned up his style game in a well-tailored tan Dolce & Gabbana suit with a polka dotted button up shirt and a black pocket square. The Fruitvale Station star's on-trend fashion proved to be one of the night's biggest red carpet surprises.
Not to be overlooked was Joseph Gordon-Levitt's dapper look in a fitted navy pinstripe Salvatore Ferragamo suit with a printed tie and ombre shoes. The Don Jon star looked ready to attend a party at Gatsby's house as he strutted the carpet.
