Age ain’t nothin’ but a number!
Jane Fonda and Goldie Hawn came to slay UCLA Institute of The Environment and Sustainability’s annual gala in Beverly Hills on March 24. Hawn, 70, who was on the event’s host committee, picked a black cap-sleeved midi with silver accents lining the front. The comedy legend accessorized with a simple silver pendant, hoops and peep-toe heels that accentuated her lean legs.
She revealed her secrets to a healthy lifestyle — and that amazing body! — to Us Weekly and a group of reporters: “I don’t eat a lot. I drink my green juice every day. I try to stay positive and be very, very active.”
Hawn’s pal and fellow Oscar winner Fonda, 78, was all about her business in a sharp black pantsuit. Her blazer featured sparkly bursts reminiscent of fireworks, and she topped everything off with chunky diamond earrings and a gold and diamond necklace.
A source tells Us that Fonda “was a social butterfly, talking to one person then the next” … and sitting on them, too! When the Grace and Frankie star realized she wasn’t going to be outbid at the event’s live auction (two tickets to Leonardo DiCaprio’s fundraiser in Saint-Tropez were up for grabs!), she “hopped onstage and begged for someone to outbid her,” because she was just trying to drive up the price. Fonda promised to sit on her outbidder’s lap, and kept her word … then convinced him to match her bid for $30,000, and sealed the deal with a hug and kiss.
