Could blue-tipped ends be the new beauty breakover? First Lauren Conrad sported the daring streaks at an event in Hollywood one month after her three-year relationship ended with Kyle Howard, and now Kate Bosworth was spotted with azure tips a week after her split with True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard was confirmed to Us Weekly.

Bosworth, 28, debuted the new hair switch-up at a Coldplay concert in Westwood, CA on Wednesday night, which she attended with a group of friends. The 21 actress sported cropped white pants, a sheer floral-printed blouse, and tan flats.
And while it turns out that her dramatic 'do was the result of a photo shoot the day before with StyleCaster.com, the hair change seems perfectly timed with her newly single status.

The California native and Skarsgard, 34, dated for two years before calling it quits. "It was very mutual," a source told Us in July. "And it happened a while ago."
