They’re baaack — and all grown-up! Kate Gosselin and her eight kids are returning to TLC for season 4 of Kate Plus 8, and this time, she’s dealing with two teenagers and six 11-year-olds.
During an interview with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on the Today show on Wednesday, Dec. 2, Jon Gosselin’s ex-wife revealed that her eldest kids, twin daughters Mady and Cara, are expressing an interest in boys.
“I was like, ‘I can’t deal with it.’ That moment was etched in my mind forever because I was like, ‘This is not okay with me,’” Gosselin, 40, recalled of when she caught her daughters chatting with teen boys on vacation.
Her twins aren’t just stressing her out with boys, either.
“I’ve heard the 15-year-old girl thing is scary and get ready. There are bursts of it, but they’re good girls. They do know everything [now though] and they tell me how to dress…and even in terms of dating, all the advice, they’ve never even gone on a date! Not even sure how they know and I know nothing, of course,” Gosselin laughed.
Her other kids — sextuplets Alexis, Aaden, Leah, Collin, Hannah, and Joel — are now 11 and equally as opinionated. “I have no idea where they got it,” she joked.
Season 4 will also shed light on Gosselin’s dating life — or lack thereof. The reality star explained she doesn’t have time for blind dates with a house full of kids to run, but you can expect to see her attempt to date on the show. As previously reported by Us Weekly, the single mom briefly dated Dreamstime COO Jeff Prescott before splitting this past September.
