Pretty in plum! All eyes were on Kate Middleton when she stepped out in a gorgeous lace Dolce & Gabbana dress during a visit to Lancaster House in London on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 33, teamed the $2,800 long-sleeve, fitted ensemble with matching Gianvito Rossi flats and a cranberry-colored velvet Mulberry clutch. In addition, Middleton wore silver earrings and showed off her oval blue Ceylon sapphire engagement sparkler. She wore her luscious brown locks down and curled.
The mom of two was joined by her husband, Prince William, and Chinese President Xi Jinping for the event Creative Collaborations: UK & China. They posed for photographs, spoke to Jinping’s wife, Peng Liyuan, and even mingled with actor Jackie Chan.
One night earlier, the royal couple celebrated Jinping’s state visit. He last traveled to the country in 2005. At the lavish event, the Duchess stunned in a red Jenny Packham gown and Queen Elizabeth’s Lotus Flower Tiara.
