Everyone’s a critic!
And in Kate Moss‘ household, her 11-year-old daughter is the supermodel’s trusted advisor. “My daughter, Lila, is my style critic,” Moss, 40, says in the May issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “She’ll say, ‘No, Mummy, you can’t wear that.’ She’s very good. I do trust her instinct.” (Lila’s dad is Moss’ ex, Jefferson Hack; Moss has been married to musician Jamie Hince since 2011.)
Moss covers the beauty issue of Harper’s Bazaar, wearing just a Kate Moss Topshop jacket — and nothing else! The model-turned-designer, 40, celebrated a milestone birthday in January but insists the new decade isn’t fazing her. “I definitely feel more comfortable in my own skin since turning 40,” she says.
In the accompanying fashion spread — shot by Terry Richardson — Moss wears several other pieces from her new Topshop collection (including a metallic fringe dress, $500) as well as more high-end pieces by Tom Ford, Balmain, and Saint Laurent.

Moss’ second collaboration with the United Kingdom-based store hits shelves (including virtual shelves at Nordstrom.com and Net-a-porter.com) on April 30. “Topshop is the only brand I’ve ever collaborated with on a fashion collection. It just feels like home working with them again. With this collection we had more time, so we could be really selective about the pieces that are included,” she said. “Each one is a statement piece.”
