One night, four outrageous outfits!

Katy Perry arrived at the 2011 MTV VMAs in an Atelier Versace dress, Jimmy Choo shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. She completed her Japanese-inspired ensemble with a demure parasol. And the head-turning ensemble was just the first of a slew of unique looks.

The 26-year-old star (who received a whopping 10 VMA nominations), changed into a Victorian-style purple lace gown by Tom Ford to present an award.

She returned to the stage to accept the Video of the Year award (for her song "Firework"), with a giant yellow block hat by Philip Treacy, plus a mod Dior Couture dress and tri-colored Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Her last style hit of the night -- a "Breaking Records" dress designed by Johnny Wujek for Furne One -- featured a sheer top and a platinum record-inspired fascinator.
