History always repeats itself — and here’s proof! Britney Spears and Kendall Jenner may not have much in common to the untrained eye, but celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz proved that notion wrong. The "Work Bitch" singer, 34, and model, 20, wore the same diamond choker — 14 years apart.
Schwartz’s impressive piece of bling, which boasts over 50 carats, is timeless according to the celeb-adored jeweler. “The first one I made in 2002 that #britneyspears wore to the 2002 #vma’s to the one #kendalljenner wore to the 2016 #whcd it shows that a #classic is classic forever even if it’s a little #funky,” Schwartz, 34, posted in a May 4 Instagram caption.
Jenner wore the sparkler to April 30’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Her low-cut, strapless Vivienne Westwood column was the perfect canvas for the statement maker.
But Spears first rocked the bling back at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2002. She added the sparkly necklace to her sexy bustier dress with peek-a-boo lace at the hem, lace gloves, strappy, knee-high heels and a leather cap.
